David’s Report. Figan and Faben headed to Camp after mumanda feeding in Kasakela. They were given bananas there and then headed west to the muguiza tree near the stream and downstairs. After a short feeding period, they rested and groomed from 1110 to 1320. Slowly they traveled with Mike south across the stream and ate mkuyu, cardboard, and matete near the soccer field. They then returned to the muguiza tree where they nested. Faben was present with Figan all day. They were definitely influenced by their early morning snack of bananas. A very slow, hot day with little ASR.
ASSR Details. None; Sherry full-open-grin and screams several times to Figan.
Nesting Details. 1727 return by Figan and and Faben to muguiza on stream. They fed until 1735. At 1744 there were Figan and Faben fast-grunts. Grunts at 1750. Faben leaves the tree at 1750 and makes nest in old nest 50 m away. Figan nests within 15 m of him.
